                                    Executive Council Meeting

Dear Sir,

This is to inform that a Executive Council Meeting of The Academy of Environmental Biology will be held at the Conference Room of Indian Institute of Toxicology Research Lucknow at 4.00 P.M. on 24^th June, 2011.  Please note that no TA/DA will be paid by the Academy.  Kindly send the details of your journey schedule to undersigned so that the necessary arrangement could be made.

1.      To confirm the minutes of the last Executive Council Meeting held on 29^th Sept., 2010 at 5.00 PM in the conference room of DCFR, Bhimtal, Nainital (U.K.).

2.      To consider and approve the names of life members of The Academy of Environmental Biology.

3.      To constitute the various committee for honour and awards of the AEB for the year 2010.

4.      To increase the amount for the life membership of The Academy of Environmental Biology.

5.      Hiring of the agency for regular maintenance of the AEB website.

6.      Any other items with the permission of chair.

Executive Council Meeting

The Executive Council Meeting of The Academy of Environmental Biology was held on 24^th June, 2011 at 5.00 p.m. in the Conference Room of Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow.  The proceeding was conducted by Dr. Krishna Gopal, Secretary (HQ) AEB and meeting was chaired by Dr.P.C.Mahanta, Director, DCFR Bhimtal, Nainital and President of AEB.

1.	To confirm the minutes of the last Executive Council Meeting held on 29th Sept., 2010 at 5.00 p.m. in the Conference Room of DCFR Bhimtal, Nainital.	The minutes of the last executive meeting were read and approved.
2.	To consider and approve the names of life members of The Academy of Environmental Biology.	The proposal were considered and recommended to the General Body meeting for life membership (Annexure –I).
3.	To constitute the various committee for honour and awards of the AEB for the year 2010.	Secretary (HQ) has been authorized to formulate on the process of various committees for AEB honours/awards
4.	To increase the amount of the life membership of The Academy of Environmental Biology	Executive Committee has decided to increase the life membership of AEB to Rs.3000/= (Rupees three thousand only) with immediate effect.
5.	Hiring of the agency for regular maintenance of the AEB website	Secretary (HQ) has been authorized to explore the agency for the maintenance of AEB website
6	Any other items with the permission of Chair	------
